The club wishes to preserve a ‘smart but casual’ approach based on clothing that is principally designed for golf.
As, however, dress sense is a highly subjective topic, the club would appreciate your support in maintaining the following standards.
TROUSERS – Denim jeans, tracksuits and military style attire are not considered appropriate on the golf course.
CLUBHOUSE & RESTAURANT – At all times smart casual attire is appropriate.
SHORTS – Tailored shorts may be worn at any time, with ankle length sport socks.
SHIRTS – For men, shirts without collars are not deemed appropriate and all shirts should be tucked into trousers or shorts.
SHOES – Spikes or soft spike golf shoes must be worn on the golf course. Trainers are not considered appropriate.
CAPS – Caps should not be worn the wrong way round (i.e. peak at the back) and should not be worn in the clubhouse.
MOBILE PHONES – Phones may be left on SILENT and then taken to the vestibule, reception area or car park for use, in consideration of other members and guests.
The implementation of this dress code is primarily the responsibility of the Management and staff of Kingswood Golf Club. It is expected that the implementation of this code will be effected with courtesy and common sense – especially regarding guests and visitors. However, those who knowingly disregard the dress code may be asked by a member of staff to leave or refrain from entering certain areas of the clubhouse.
Thank you in advance for your co-operation in adhering to the above.
I booked it as a Christmas present to myself and my two son in laws and my son. They were so helpful in tailoring the present to exactly what I wanted . The day itself from the moment we got there to the end was fantastic, the courteous service , the welcome , the golf course was all first class and the dining was at another level again if that's possible . A brilliant day and I know what all four of us will be getting next year for Christmas ."
Great course, beautiful countryside setting, with incredibly hospitable friendly members who hosted us in a fourball on our first visit. Stunning locker room facilities and a great club house, with views."
Took a friend here for the 1st time, he came down from London to play. He has only started playing recently so I was worried that it might be a bit tough for him, but he loved it! So much in fact he took membership details! Food at the halfway house was excellent and the beers afterwards went down a treat. Really good atmosphere in the club house too. Changing rooms are superb. Staff in the pro shop and the clubhouse were on the ball too. Would recommend it to any golfer."
Our group of four stayed at Kingswood for two nights and three rounds of golf, staff were brilliant, always polite. The course itself was great, very demanding but one that we enjoyed, food was excellent and the staff polite. We all agreed that the stay there was relaxing and fun and we would definitely go back and enjoy the great surroundings."
Just some feedback from out golf day last Friday.
It was very enjoyable and we must say we all were very impressed with how you managed the course considering the weather as of late and the food was superb and staff very friendly. We are thinking or another day in October so will be In touch shortly with regards to the available dates.
Love this course. Fairways immaculate and playing beautifully. Greens running true but difficult to read. For £39 mid week afternoon it's great value for a lovely members course."
You can't beat Kingswood. Challenging course. Nice and quiet"
"Kingswood Golf club offer a free 4-ball every month through their website. My friends and I played the course after winning the March draw. Despite the recent wet weather the course provided a good challenge. We were made very welcome by the staff in the pro-shop and also by the starter. The course is challenging for the higher handicapper but the pleasant surroundings make it an enjoyable four hours.""
"Played golf in a Match on 15th September 2015 for Copthorne Vets v Kingswood Old Britains. Loved the golf course? long but relatively flat. A tough challenge for all levels of golfers off either the yellows or for the better player the longer whites. The new changing rooms and showers are a great addition and the rest of the clubhouse is first class. Highly recommended for a society day out. I look forward to returning in 2016.""
"Just a quick thank you for the superb organisation of a great golf day. I know from personal experience how much work goes into such an event. My guests were very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the whole event and now want the come back next year!""
